Cedrick

Just a simple portrait of my mascot/avatar character, Cedrick the chinchilla, to practice my digital painting skills. I could have done a lot more to clean this up, but I felt like moving on to something else.
I looked to my friend J. Max Wilson and the artwork he did for the Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout games. He's really good!
I still need to work on my lighting and textures, especially fur and hair, and working with color is always tricky. I'm a better draftsman than a painter.
